The Demerrians

The Demerrian Bloodline is a unique and mysterious lineage within the diverse bloodlines of Sahael, known for their extraordinary ability to commune with the dead. Descended from ancient ancestors with a special connection to the spirit world, members of the Demerrian Bloodline possess a rare and powerful gift that allows them to communicate with departed souls, seek guidance from the beyond, and access the wisdom of the ancestors. Those born into the Demerrian Bloodline are often seen as intermediaries between the living and the dead, serving as conduits for messages, visions, and insights from the spirit realm. They are revered for their intuitive abilities, clairvoyant powers, and deep spiritual connection that enables them to navigate the mysteries of the afterlife with grace and wisdom. In the intricate tapestry of Sahael's bloodlines, the Demerrians emerge as a mysterious and enigmatic race, their ethereal beauty marked by their rare and striking appearance as Black Albinos. They bear the weight of a curse that has plagued their existence, driving them to the shadows and making them targets of relentless persecution by the witans under the iron fisted rule of Lord Commander Natas. The Demerrians' eyes, radiant with the hues of turquoise, hold the key to a profound gift the ability to see through the eyes of all the departed souls, whether they wander the celestial realms above or the shadowed depths below. This unique sight grants them intimate knowledge of the afterlife and the secrets that lie beyond mortal understanding. At the helm of the Demerrian Bloodline stand the leaders, bearers of the formidable powers of necrokinesis and death magic. With a mere thought, they can manipulate the energies of death, summon spirits from the afterlife, and weave spells that resonate with the echoes of the deceased. When these leaders blink their eyes twice, a transformation ensues, turning their gaze into a resplendent magnesite, signaling the activation of their Demerrian gifts. In addition to their mastery of death and spirits, the Demerrian leaders possess large wings that unfurl from their backs, granting them the rare gift of flight and the ability to open portals to traverse the realms of Sahael. Nestled within the floating island of Sahaerion is the Kingdom of Sahaedeth, the ancestral seat of the Demerrians. From this ethereal realm that floats above Sahael, they oversee the passage of souls and serve as the custodians of the afterlife.
